This week-long adventure is for creative kids, big thinkers, those looking to build their confidence, and aspirational young performers.
Every January, we create and debut a new Australian family musical starring talented local kids and professionals. Our program participants will gain first hand experience in what it’s like to develop, rehearse and perform a brand new theatre show! They’ll audition for roles, work closely with our director and choreographer, practise like crazy, and feel the inspiring applause from a public audience. They’ll also be on stage alongside some of Perth’s best emerging and established actors, singers and dancers.
Participants will be coached by practicing industry professionals and WAAPA graduates who have worked with the likes of Anthony Warlow, Marousia Louwerse and Drew Anthony. Our mentors are trained in musical theatre, producing, writing, and education.
