We had a busy 2026 Fringe season!

  • CODED COMEDY

We asked audience to channel their inner Gru and make our Minions dance.

After conquering Adelaide Fringe, our hilariously talented improvisers returned home to the Red Room with many more tech-infused musical comedies. Made up on the spot, never to be seen again.

This year our audiences shaped the chaos alongside our legendary musical Chatbot, Chatalie. You'll be playing Cupid with our love stories, choosing the dramatic Spotify playlist (aka the songs we make up), and deciding who survives...

The futures of our actors were in your hands.

Coded Comedy brought another season of improvised explosion of power ballads, parodies, and big laughs.

  • BIBBITY BOBBITY BOORLOO

Fresh from a sell-out run at Edinburgh Fringe, this bureaucratic fairytale received a Perth makeover at the Jonesway Theatre.

When a fictional Princess wishes to see the most beautiful beaches in the world, she unexpectedly lands in the clutches of Australian Customs. In this far-off land of sunburn and strange wildlife, security is so tight even the magic of a Fairy Godmother can't break through. With nothing but a song in her heart, her given name, and a confused entourage of illegal animal friends, our Princess begins to fight for her Australian Working Holiday Visa.

  • *SOLD OUT* RECESS DUTY

Overstuffed terms, endless interruptions, and instant coffee gone cold.

Recess Duty is a comedic love letter from one primary school teacher to another, capturing the messy, hilarious, and at times heartbreaking realities of school life. Set entirely in a school staffroom in term 4, educators ranging from bright-eyed newbies to battle-hardened veterans juggle unruly students, relentless admin, and curveballs from every direction - all while clinging to their sanity (and their mugs). Enjoy one last laugh from the outside before the bell rings and the chaos becomes your reality once more.

Inspired by real life experiences, this dark comedy is equal parts therapy, satire, and solidarity.

Think 'The Office' but with more glitter glue, overdue permission slips, and late night parent emails.

Our 2026 Fringe season was a world premiere presented in partnership with The Blue Room Theatre.
